It felt great to get out of the house today!
I met with Ashley, Ryan, Lindsey, and Katy H. for lunch at Infusion Tea.
I’ve been once before, but only ordered tea. This time I was really excited to try their food.
I ordered the Roasted Pears half salad…
..and the soup of the day, Pumpkin soup!
Altogether:
The best part, is that my combo came with the iced tea of the day: Moroccan Mint.
The same tea with the Nikon D40 camera(Lindsey’s picture, but same camera as Jason’s)… look at the difference in quality!
Everyone simultaneously whipped out the cameras when our food arrived. It’s so funny to see other food bloggers in action. We were definitely drawing attention to ourselves.
We sat and chatted for a while, and before we knew it, three hours had gone by! There sure was a lot to talk about.
Lindsey was super sweet, and brought us all a batch of mini vegan cookies.
I immediately ate one, and then another, and another. They were so good! I figured that it was already 3pm, and probably added up to about a CLIF bar.
By the time I got home, it was almost dinner time! Jason and I set the table for a lovely “date”.
My favorite part of dinner was the green beans! I steamed them in salt and pepper and then added some chopped almonds. It was a great way to spice up a boring vegetable.
I also made roasted potatoes (went back for a few more nibbles)…
…and some grilled chicken. I cooked it a little too long, and it was a bit dry. Oh, well.
I’m now working on baking some mini pumpkin scones! I’ll probably try one when the come out of the oven.
See you in the morning!

How are your feet feeling?
Crazily enough I’m visiting Orlando for the weekend and was at Infusion Tea for lunch from around 3:30-5!! The food was so so good, but the tea was out of this world. White raspberry truffle? I felt like I was drinking dessert – amazing. I’m glad you all had a good time! I’m definitely making a point to come up here more often

I really wish I knew other food bloggers. It would be awesome!
Glad you had a good time.
Have a great sunday!
chicken baked in tin foil–totally wrapped in it–will keep it from getting dry and will marinade the whole time it’s baking. Yummy green beans.
glad you spent time with your friends!

Looks like a great lunch and dinner! I love green beans. I like to steam them al dente, then saute them with garlic and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Delish!
Had SO much fun! Our meals were super yummy. Thanks for being my meal buddy..(; I wish we could have stayed until dinner! We should definitely hang out again soon.
It’s so great to see bloggers getting together. Did you all meet through blogging? When did you start meeting up? It seems like all the bloggers I follow are on the east coast and I’m on the west. I would love not being the only one who photographs their meal for once!
I know Lindsey from freshman year random roommate assignment…. Lindsey knows Ryan from High school…. and Katy from UCF. We know Ashley through blogging!!
It’s a small world!
cute shirt–may I ask where it is from?
